Rachael Barker, Managing Executive & Manager – Marketing Communications
Rachael is a strategic and tactical marketing communications executive with strengths in strategic planning, business development and public relations/media/issues management. She has 18 years of private and public sector experience, predominantly working for international and domestic agencies within the Victorian Government and more recently for international companies such as Mattel Inc. (Australia/NZ).
Rachael has experience in leading, developing and executing large-scale marketing strategies in consumer products at retail as well as in government service agencies such as consumer business, investment and migration sectors. She has strengths in external and internal stakeholder management across senior executive, advertising and PR agencies, third party alliances, event management and internal project support teams. Rachael holds a Master of Business (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism).
Former roles have seen Rachael managing teams of 2 to 26 staff and budgets of $5,000 to $6M. These have included General Manager of Consumer Affairs Victoria, Senior Manager of Consumer Products for Mattel (Australia/New Zealand) and Marketing and Business Development Manager (UK/Europe) for the Victorian Government’s Skilled Migration Program. She has a background in media, starting her career as a Journalist for Fairfax newspapers, before working in public relations for Hill and Knowlton and as a Strategic Media and Communications Adviser for both the Department of Justice and the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development.
Rachael is highly regarded for her ability to quickly understand clients’ business objectives and issues and respond with effective business development solutions across marketing and communications. She is also respected for her relationship management skills, particularly in building rapport at all levels and across diverse stakeholder groups.
Denise Palmer, Manager – Research & Marketing
Denise is an experienced marketing professional who has worked in the public, private and tertiary sectors for the past 18 years. As 360's Research and Marketing Manager, Denise specialises in researching online consumer behaviour to best inform strategic and targeted approaches to market segments through digital campaigns. During her eight years with the Victorian Government she designed, implemented and managed key websites, including the multilingual Invest Victoria site.
Denise is passionate about business processes and marketing, and managed the upgrade and roll-out of a customised Client Relationship Management system for the global Victorian Government Business Offices. She is currently studying a PhD, researching trends in online consumer behaviour, and was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award scholarship in 2014. With strong project management skills, organisational skills and attention to detail, Denise can assist clients and their stakeholders with her solid knowledge of digital marketing, services marketing, marketing communications, consumer behaviour, strategy and management.
Denise has completed the Prince2 Foundation course in project management and holds a Master of Business (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Arts.
Malcolm Roberts, Manager – Digital Projects
Malcolm is an experienced web developer, integrating cutting edge productivity applications with cross-platform functionality and incorporated online identity through social media portals.
Malcolm is a dynamic information technology and systems expert with a passion for design and online presence. He currently consults for a handful of businesses and has helped them increase their online presence and achieve effective productivity solutions. He works closely with clients to reach tailored online solutions with cross platform compatibility in order to increase exposure and engagement with target audiences. He has a broad knowledge of IT business solutions and is able to manage small or large IT projects, bringing in professionals in various areas if further technical skills are required.
Malcolm has previously worked at Telstra and more recently at Mattel Inc. as the regional IT coordinator. Aside from technology being a long-time passion, Malcolm has studied Communication Design and Information Business Systems which has provided him with a wide range of complementary online design skills and expertise. In his spare time he is in the process of launching his own international aid NGO.
Emma Coast, Graphic Designer
Emma has more than 14 years experience in creating design solutions across brand, digital and marketing collateral including signage and illustration.
Emma is well known for interpreting clients' needs with her clean and innovative style. She works on a diverse range of brands from corporate, property, lifestyle through to Government and not-for-profit clients.
Emma has an approachable nature and will work with clients to deliver successful on-brand results for targeted audiences, with fast turnaround times.
Adam Cleave, Photographer
After completing a Bachelor of Arts (Photography) at RMIT in 1997 Adam has continued to broaden his experience and develop his technical skills. Immediately after university Adam worked with various leading photographers in an assisting role before establishing his own business in 2000. Adam’s studio, located in St Kilda has been his base for the past 16 years.
Adam has worked with a diverse range of clients including the City of Melbourne, Country Road, GHD, Jetstar, McGrath Nicol, Simplot and Treasury Wine Estates. Specialising in commercial photography, Adam is a versatile photographer covering all fields including corporate, landscapes (natural and urban), people (location and studio) and still life.
